Day 208: Riots

Riots have been breaking out all over london, it's insane. We spent today in the office listening to the blow-by-blow news - my boss got locked in the Ealing squash club until 2am last night, and the rioters smashed the Estate Agents window opposite our office in Ealing.

We came in to a divot taken out of one of our windows, but no damage otherwise, though we spent the day today listening to non-stop police sirens. They barricaded up the local shopping centre, and we have cleared the decks in case the rioters see our office & want to start stealing stuff.

Hopefully, they have spent their fury and we'll be back to normal tomorrow - though to be honest the only change was we left early due to worries about them shutting the tube stations (anchor points of the shopping centre) and all the businesses around us had also closed.

This was as close as I was getting! I missed the 3 police cars in convoy to this one, then scarpered down the tube.
