Day 116: Footie, more Footie & Failure

Sad day today - went to watch d'nephew play in his U11's league final - they lost after playing valiantly on a full size pitch, against bigger kids. They played well though - funnily enough the kids were pretty chipper afterwards (they are a good team & won all their games last weekend) it was the parents & coaches lamenting into their pints for the rest of the day!

Then we had the ManU/Chelsea finals decider game - if Chelsea win it, they go to the top of the table and have a chance at snatching the cup.

They didn't stand a chance - ManU scored in the first 37seconds of the game. 37 seconds!

Then out for dinner & to drown our sorrows. Checked out the 1911 Hatch End Station too!
